You are bidding on a 2006
Reva G-Wiz electric car (DC) in first class condition.
This car benefits from having a brand new set of
batteries fitted at the end of last year, which if
maintained will be good for another 2-3 years. The
batteries were replaced by Going Green who have serviced
this vehicle from the beginning (the most recent service
being in February of this year).
The car drives like new
and has no mechanical faults. The leather interior is in
very good condition as are the carpets which have been
protected by rubber mats from day 1. The alloy wheels
are like new. The bodywork is very good condition
although there are a few scrapes, none of which I would
class as serious.
My brother and I have
used this car for the last few years in London and it
has been fantastic. The top speed is 40mph, which may
not seem very fast, but when driving in London you
really don't need to go any faster, these cars are
surprisingly nimble, and a lot of fun once you get into
them.
Obviously this is an
electric car, and in being so it is exempt from the
Congestion Charge and Road Tax. Also it is in the
cheapest Insurance group (Group 1)
To recharge the batteries cost about 60 pence! (half the
price of a liter of petrol), and depending on driving
style a full charge has a range of between 25-40 miles,
which is ideal for London.
This really is a great
little car. Your smile gets bigger every time you pass a
petrol station and see the cost of fuel increasing- it
is very liberating not being at the mercy of petrol
companies. These cars are great both ethically and
financially.
I am very confident in
this car and am certain that the winner will be very
pleased. Please go to the Going Green website if you
wish to find out more about these cars, or contact me if
you have any questions or wish to view the car.
Please excuse the
pictures, they really don't do the car justice.
