I and my partner have owned this vehicle from new, we have looked after it and cared for it, we expected to keep it for 3 years but we have both found new jobs (unexpected).

The battery and car have done 4376 miles, it is in superb condition, the car was serviced recently and the technician said it is the fastest car he has driven and has an excellent output (measured using a computer). We have maintained the battery to perfection, in my opinion. Our car is fast and nippy; it also has a boost option to go faster, which is rarely necessary, with a top speed of 50 miles per hour (on a flat road)

With a new G-wiz or when a new battery is fitted,  40 cycles of charge and discharge are required, during this time, the range is very limited, approximately, 15 miles (increasing as you go through the cycles), during this time you can only use 70% of the range and the boost should not be used. This takes 2 months, therefore it requires a certain level of commitment, obviously we have done this, and it is very necessary for the battery’s longevity. With our G-wiz the battery is working at its peak. If you buy a new car from Going Green you are looking at a 4 month wait plus the running-in two months, and this is exactly what we did –it took 6 months! Our car is ready to go now – we have done all the hardwork!

We live in North Finchley and drive to Great Portland Street and then North Kensington, the drive is very pleasant and takes between 45 to 60 minutes (depending on traffic), this is a 23 mile round trip, it’s a great cost effective alternative to the Tube/bus. Driving to central London is made so easy with a car like this.

A new G-Wiz costs £8,895 and the earliest delivery date is August 2008, grab our well looked after car at a fraction of the cost at £6395. This is a tried and tested car and it has worked very well for us, and will prove to be a bargain for a serious potential electric car owner.

·         The vehicle is charged via a domestic plug (as shown in diagram)

·         2 hrs for an 80% charge/ 8 hrs for a 100% charge
This vehicle requires no maintenance apart from:

1)      Topping up water for the battery approximately once every 3-4 weeks which takes 2 minutes and can be purchased from Halford’s (or similar for £2)

2)      And charging!

If you are interested in buying this car please feel free to ask questions or contact me for a test drive.

Be quick, pick up a bargain and avoid the long 4 month wait for a new one!
