Limited Edition Eley Kishimoto G-Wiz Electric Car

GoinGreen has teamed up with London design duo Eley Kishimoto to produce a limited edition G-Wiz electric car.  The iconic G-Wiz has been wrapped with Eley Kishimoto’s signature ‘flash’ print and is available in three colourways; black/white, blue/white and red/white, with corresponding bumpers. Only 10 cars per colour will be available to order and each will be numbered and signed by Eley Kishimoto. “The car has been flashed, this print is like a stamp of approval, or a virus, that travels onto things that we like,” says Mark Eley.

Mark Eley will be driving a black/white Eley Kishimoto G-Wiz around town over the next few months and will compile a photo diary of his adventures in his electric car and says, “We are happy to collaborate with a company that has passionate visions of a better future for the environment. We hope to learn from this relationship and use it as spring board to educate ourselves more intimately about what we can do within our own business to improve similar matters,”

The emission-free G-Wiz electric car launched in London in 2004 and is now a familiar sight around the city. The new, improved performance AC drive G-Wiz has a range of up to 48 miles and a speed of up to 45mph and is upgradeable to lithium-ion batteries when they are introduced later in the year. The G-Wiz is exempt from road tax and the London congestion charge and enjoys free parking and charging in central London, including two on-street charging points in Covent Garden, with other parking benefits throughout the city.
