Chinese Company
Pearl-Hydrogen has developed a fuel cell powered bicycle. The Shanghai
based company which also develops a fuel-cell golf cart hope to further
commercialise the technology.
The bike is powered by
two
600L hydrogen cylinders. These power a 180W motor giving the Pearl
Hydrogen a range of 37 miles and a maximum speed of 15mph.
No announcement have been made about a UK
release but the fuel cell powered bicycle is currently on sale in China
for £1,300.
