In the UK, New Twingo will be available in two engines and trims, both with a sporty and stylish feel. The Dynamique trim with a 1.2 16V 75 petrol engine is priced at £8,375. Manual air conditioning is available on Dynamique as a £525 option. The GT with the new 1.2 TCE 100 petrol engine, which is also available on some Clio and Modus versions, is £9,995, beating its nearest competitor, the Fiat Panda, on price.

Twingo GT has the best combined mpg in comparison to its competitors as well as the lowest emissions, making Renault’s Twingo the environmentally-friendly choice. Both versions of Twingo form part of a wide choice of Renault models across most of its range that meet Renault’s strict eco2 criteria.

Renault recently launched its ‘eco2’ initiative which focuses on the full lifecycle of its vehicles from design right through to eventual recycling. Each eco2 vehicle must meet three strict criteria in terms of manufacturing, emissions (being 140 g/km or lower) and recycling.

With a combined mpg of 47.8, low emissions of just 140 g/km, a top speed of 117 mph and 145 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm, the 1.2 TCE 100 offers frugal fuel economy and a strong performance.
