Your looking at my citroen
saxo electric.
It has a brand new battery pack fitted last
week worth £500 . The cars top speed is 45mph+. The
current range is 15miles, although after the battery
pack has worn-in this will improve to 20miles+ per
charge.I have the reciept for the batteries. It also
comes with 12 months MOT.
The car drives like a normal car except theres no clutch
to worry about. Its almost silent, and its fun to drive.
It comes with a charging unit, which is easy to plug
into the car and has a handy long lead to reach to a
normal house hold socket. The body work and interia look
tidy, there is one small dent on the back wing which I
included in the photos, its not very noticeable to be
honest.
This car would suit someone who wishes to reduce
pollution and save money at the same time. If you live
in the city there are many ways to save money from
owning an electric car. The cost of charging is at
about 1/4 price of the equivalent petrol car in fuel
price. As well, theres no congestion charge or road tax
fees.
This car would also suit somebody who regularly drives a
short journey where higher speeds arent required.
The top speed is 45mph+, it wont drive up steep hills
at this speed but will achieve this speed on the level.

volt system, Curtis controller 400amp, Curtis throttle
control/ potentiometer, 6 x 12v 105Ah lead acid sealed
batteries. Motor and adaptor plate mounted to original
Saxo gearbox. 12v vacuum pump to ensure powerful
braking. Albright contactor, Voltmeter/ ammeter, Battery
mounts, auxillary battery, 100A Circuit Breaker.
There are only a couple things I never got round to
sorting. One front tyre has a really slow puncture, only
goes down enough to notice after a month so I just kept
it regularly inflated. And it needs a new speedo cable
as it isnt registering the miles.
The car has been approved by the
DVLA and the log book states electricity in the fuel
class.
The car is based in Devon, If you need to have the car
delivered I may be able to help you to arrange
transport, there are many car transport services
advertised on ebay charging about £1 per mile.
