Electric Scooter Shop is delighted to announce its
launch at UK Aware today (Friday 25th
March), when it will be showing off one of the
hottest new electric urban vehicles (EUV) to hit the
streets of the UK this year.
The
two-wheeled TP Scoot has been wowing town and city
commuters in Germany for nearly ten years with its
slick design, great agility and easy charging. It
has only now been brought to the UK by a group of
entrepreneurs aiming to revolutionise personal
transport.
It
can be seen on display and test driven on the indoor
test track at UK Aware on 25th and 26th
March at Olympia and at The Gadget Show Live from 12th
April.
With
petrol prices sky high and ever increasing, the 100%
electric TP Scoot it anticipated to become popular
with everyone ranging from city commuters to police
forces and courier companies, as they endeavor to
cut transport costs and find more eco-friendly ways
to travel. With electricity costing around 1p per
mile, the TP Scoot can save hundreds of pounds on
petrol, as well as enjoying zero rated road tax, low
insurance and congestion zone exemption in London.
Spokesman Rudi Schogger says, “The TP Scoot is one
of the most innovative and simple solutions for
personal transport I have come across. It is
compact enough to be stored in the corner of any
hallway or reception, or folded down to be stored
under a desk or in a car boot, making transport
completely door to door. It can be charged at home
overnight, work or even topped up for half an hour
in any obliging coffee shop. It’s also a
beautifully crafted piece of engineering tough
enough for the rigors of the UK roads. That’s all
before you even get to the various cost savings and
environmental benefits”
The
TP Scoot is a fully TUV certified, electric urban
vehicle, with a range of up to 20 miles and a top
speed of 20mph. Similar in classification to a 50cc
petrol scooter, it requires a insurance, tax (zero
rated) and either a pre-2001 drivers license or a
CBT. Both 1000w Maximillian and 500w Ferdinand
models are available and a 2000w model is planned
for later in the year. Prices start at £1250.00
